It has been many years since the SUBURBAN REBELS released a new album. During lockdown the band composed new songs, recovered some from the first period that were never recorded before, even one of those songs was never played live and at the end of 2021 they entered the studio to record what will perhaps be the logical continuation to the „Nacidos para provocar“ album (Born to provoke). This new album entitled „Vells però encara forts“ (Old but still strong) is made up of 13 very varied songs, we find songs that are more Oi! such as „Attack ya!“, „Orgullo“, „Botellas“, „Skinhead Rock n Roll“ to nostalgic songs like „Dies de Pluja“ (Rainy Days) and „Never stop dreaming“ song dedicated to Jordi Miranda „The Last Cockney Kid“ who passed away not long ago…. An album that leaves no one indifferent. The cover artwork is a collage of photos of skins, punks, mods, rudeboys, some band pictures, bootboys and hooligans, everything that has been part of the lives of the Suburban Rebels or has inspired them throughout their lives.
