Emerging from the frozen north of Rovaniemi, Finland, in 1982, Aivoproteesi were a force of nature in the early Finnish hardcore punk scene. Fronted by the powerful vocals of Pekka Pernu, Aivoproteesi’s sound was a blend of raw energy and social commentary. Their music pulsed with driving guitars, pounding drums, and Jussi Pernu’s thunderous bass, creating a sonic assault that mirrored the frustrations and anxieties of their generation. Lyrically, they tackled themes of social injustice, alienation, and the harsh realities of life in their arctic hometown. The album contains the legacy of the band presented with 31 tracks recorded between 1982 and 1985. Inside of the vinyl cover there is an A4 zine devoted to the activity of Aivoproteesi as a band. There you will find photos, lyrics, posters interviews and moooore.
