This single with Tiger and The Versatiles was originally released in 1971 in the United Kingdom by New Beat Records. Both songs were written and produced by Laurel Aitken and released during his ‘High Priest of Reggae’ era, when he put out new reggae singles almost on a weekly basis.
This is the first official reissue and we pressed this one on recycled eco(!) vinyl and the single includes a 300grams insert with liner notes. Because the original master tapes are long time gone, we had to transfer the recordings from vinyl, a method which is often used to restore the loss of original sound recordings. Because of its analogue format, vinyl is ideally suited to do so. After transfer we remastered the recordings for vinyl.
