Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is only collected by us and used if permitted by law or the user consent to the data collection.
The collection and use of personal data of customers for the purpose of fulfilling the purchase contract is regulated in the GDPR Art. 6, para. 1b.
In general, it can be seen by the user which data is stored, such as name, e-mail address and message when using the service.
The for the purpose of ordering goods specified personal information (such as name, e-mail address, address, payment data) are used by us for the processing of the contract. These data will be kept confidential, encrypted and not available to third parties who are not involved in the ordering, delivery and payment procedures.
We have taken organizational, contractual and technological security measures to ensure that the rules of data protection laws are respected, and accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons is prevented.
Data forwarding to third parties
The user data will only be passed on to third parties if this is legally permitted or if a user has consented to the forwarding.
This is for instance the case if the transfer of data is neccessary for fulfillment of contractual obligations towards the user and the mailing address is passed to a shipping service due to a shop order.
The personal data of users will not be sold or shared to third parties for advertising purposes or for the purpose of creation of user profiles.
Your rights
If you do not agree anymore that we safe your personal data or if this data is not correct anymore, we will take measures to delete, correct or block your data within legal requirements. The following is a description of the services used and the associated data protection information:
Onlineshop
You can order directly in our online shop without account registration. The creation of customer accounts is optional.
Customer Accounts
The creation of customer accounts is optional. In these accounts, the name, address, e-mail and order history is stored.
Payment Services and Payment Provider
We use services of the companies PayPal, Haufe and Billbee and possibly transfer personal data of customers to these. Their privacy policies and terms and conditions apply.
Shipping Services
We use services of the companies DHL, DPD and Deutsche Post and possibly transfer personal data of customers to these. Their privacy policies and terms and conditions apply.
Collection of access data
We collect data on every access to the online offer (so-called server log files). Access data includes name of the downloaded web page, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type along with version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited), IP address and the requesting provider.
We use the log data with no assignment to the individual users or other profiling in accordance with statutory provisions only for statistical analysis for the purpose of operation, security and the optimization of the online offer. However, we reserve the right to check the log data later if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use due to concrete indications.
Cookies
We use “cookies” as part of our online offer. Cookies are small files that are stored on the user’s computer and can store information for providers. Temporary cookies are deleted after you close your browser, persistent cookies maintain for a predetermined period of time and can provide the stored information available at the reopening of the online offer.
Cookies are used on the one hand to make it easier to use the service. So for example a cookie stores the cart status of a user.
The user can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to limitate storage of cookies or completely prevent it. We strive to make our online offer so that the use of cookies is not necessary. However, it is pointed out that the use, in particular the use of comfort, without cookies will be restricted.
Contact form
When you contact us (via contact form or by e-mail), the information of the user will be stored for the purpose of processing the request.
Information delivery via newsletter
E-mails with commercial information are sent only with an explicit consent of the user. The user can object to receiving the newsletter at any time. One option of objection shall be in each email.
Before sending the newsletter, a confirmation mail will be sent to the e-mail-owner in which he will have to confirm the newsletter subscription. Unconfirmed registrations are automatically deleted at the latest within four weeks.
Non-advertising information includes messages in the context of the contractual relationship with the user. This includes the delivery of technical information, information about the payment, inquiries about orders and similar messages.
The user can subsequently apply for removal from the list of notifications by e-mail to the above contact details.
As part of the application, we store the registration and the verification time and the IP address of the user.
Piwik Statistics
We use Piwik, an open source software for statistical analysis of user traffic. Piwik uses cookies, which are stored on the user’s computer and allow an analysis of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use will be stored on our server in Germany.
The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before storage.
Users can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the browser software.
Facebook and social networks
We are using social networks such as facebook to spread our contents. Generally we’re advising caution when using this services for private purposes and plead for a responsible usage of your data and the data of other persons, because this data will be stored, evaluated, given away and sold by those companies. Last but not least it is very easy to collect information about you for third persons via social networks.
