Even if WTG can never be reduced to the label “political rap”, statements on political topics and observations of social developments permeate their entire artistic oeuvre. The title track of the EP “Schwerter zu Schusswaffen” is no exception. Even if the focus of the content often provokes a darker tone, the EP is musically fun and, thanks to the constant play with more or less subversive humour, is not a humour-free collection of tirades. Despite the dense content and verbalised anger, lyricist and performer Milli Dance seems unleashed and allows himself to drift with the music and let his thoughts flow. The 10″ contains 8 tunes and is limited to 1000 copies.
