‘Several young anti-fascists, including some from Hamburg, are currently facing extradition to Hungary – a right-wing authoritarian country that has been criticised for years for its lack of rule of law principles. The background to the threatened extradition is an investigation against anti-fascists who are accused of being involved in clashes with neo-Nazis on the so-called ‘Day of Honour’ in Budapest in February 2023. The ‘Day of Honour’ is an international Nazi march that serves as a historical revisionist commemoration of an escape attempt by SS groups and Wehrmacht soldiers shortly before the liberation of Budapest by the Red Army’ (by family und friends hamburg)
