MILLI DANCE (WAVING THE GUNS) presents a complete studio album together with Dresden beatmaker U.N.O. It’s a good thing that the Rostock native – from private, non-musical circumstances – knows Dresden’s U.N.O., who produces beats, initially only for himself. After the two discover their shared love of music, one thing leads to another, instrumentals and vocal tracks are exchanged across the country. MILLI DANCE, with its very characteristic flow, naturally makes its mark from the first bar, the instrumentals of U.N.O. are more of a relaxed tempo, sample-based, organically warm and technically cool at the same time. An unexpected and excellent German hip hop work off the leash.
