Oi! Oi! Amen! In 2002 Hamburg-based Jesus Skins released their legendary debut album “Unser Kreuz braucht keine Haken”. Tough correct Oi! punk with religious lyrics between biting irony and seriousness. The hype didn’t take long, a few thousand sold records, media presence everywhere, even before the release, television comes along to portray the converted skinheads. The Federal Review Board for Media Endangered to Young People partially indexes “77 heißt Grüß Gott” and thus directly adds to the promotion.
Around Joe, George, Markus, Lukas and Mathäus it has become quieter, but now and then the Hamburgers still blow to the “hunt for the Satanist pack”. Time to finally put the long sold out album back on vinyl. Especially because there are three bonus tracks in the drawer, two previously unreleased and “Jesus Fighting Crew” from the “Drushba Antifa” sampler. This reissue comes in the original artwork with small revisions in 350g cover with text inlay and download code.
