Description

The Warriors were a short-lived continuation of The Last Resort. When The Last Resort quit in february 1982 the remaining members (Roi Pearce, Charlie Duggan and Arthur Kitchener) founded The Warriors in which they were joined by drummer John Fischer who would later play for Combat 84, The Gonads and The Business. In this line-up they recorded two songs and did two gigs throughout 1982 before calling it a day. Their first studio effort was the song ‚Horror Show‘ which originally appeared at the ‚Oi! Oi! That’s Yer Lot!‘ compilation in september 1982. The band’s second studio effort was ‚Wicked Women‘, which originally appeared at the ‚United Skins‘ compilation in october 1982. In november of that year The Warriors played their second and last gig of the 80ies. The band quit en vocalist Roi joined the 4 Skins while bass player Arthur ‚Bilko‘ Kitchener became a successful and respected ska musician with bands like Arthur Kay’s Originators and Arthur Kay & The Originals. Both songs are now collected on a 7″ and include a fold-out cover with liner notes and pictures. Both songs have been remastered for vinyl and pressed on 45rpm for a better sound quality. Coloured vinyl.
