Beschreibung

EXTERNAL MENACE was formed in the Coatbrigade suburb of Glasgow, Scotland, UK in 1979, at first the band was called THE L-PLATES, but in the year 1982 the name was changed into EXTERNAL MENACE and some few vinyl releases were done. After one band member (Wullie) got hit by a car on the motorway M8 the band has been on hiatus from 1987 – 1995, CAPTAIN OI RECORDS wanted to re-release old songs from the band in 1995 and so they band came together again, new recordings were done and they band toured the UK and Europe. EXTERNAL MENACE plays typical UK ´82 Punk, Punk Rock with influences from CHAOS UK, ONE WAY SYSTEM, RED ALERT, PARTISANS, … , yeah this name dropping is lame but it should give you an idea about what to expect. The original version of this LP was released in the year 1998 on EPISTROPHY from Germany. This is the official re-issue on Yellow / Red Splatter vinyl, with re-arranged artwork and extra lyric sheet.
