When Morpheus gave Neo the choice between the red and the blue pill, it didn’t occur to Neo that there was a third option. Our generation has swallowed both pills in one greedy gulp, and now we live with the consequences of being terribly conscious and seemingly incapable of doing anything real in a world constantly viewed through phony filters.
\nBut with vigilance and empathy comes the potential for real commitment and real change. Although it seems overwhelming, we must believe that we can turn our somewhat harmless internet protest into truly transformative activism by taking the right measures.
