In 1996, former members of WC News, Turboreanimacija, Varn\u0173 V\u0113jas and other groups started playing under the name Dr. Green. They wanted to wash away the well-known punk rock with the (third) wave of ska rolling through the world. After finding a saxophonist playing in one of the streets of Vilnius, they “purely” recorded their debut album “Ska’n’go” in the old “Tamsta” studio.
